Series/Report no. British Columbia Mine Reclamation Symposium 1991
Abstract: Afton 's operation of a copper-gold mine and concentrator near Kamloops since 1977 has demonstrated that mining can be integrated with other resource users in close proximity to a population centre. In particular, integration of the recently developed Ajax orebody with ranching, recreational fishing and licensed water users has presented some special challenges.
