Synthesis, characterization and anti-cancer activity of new ruthenium maltolato and imidazole complexes Kennedy, David Charles

Abstract

Several new Ru(III) maltolato (ma) and ethylmaltolato (Ema) complexes have been synthesized, characterized, and tested for biological activity in vitro against MDAMB- 435S cells, a human breast cancer cell line. Ru(ma)₃ and Ru(Ema)₃ were studied in detail using a number of spectroscopic techniques. [the rest of the abstract can be found in the attached PDF file]
