Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETDs) 2008+

Note: A new cIRcle license that applies to theses and dissertations was implemented on March 7, 2014. See the text of the click-through license to which you need to agree when you submit your thesis to cIRcle.

Thesis submission instructions: Your thesis must be submitted as a single file PDF which is compatible with Adobe Acrobat version 5 file format. This file is then submitted to cIRcle, UBC's Digital Repository. See the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies site for details on Electronic Submission at UBC.

Important: Ensure that your PDF file is named according to the cIRcle instructions:

ubc_gradyear_gradseason_lastname_firstname.pdf

Example: ubc_2010_spring_houdini_harry.pdf

Your gradseason is the season in which you will formally be granted your degree and invited to convocation ceremonies. It will be either spring or fall. Please make sure you use all lower case for your file name.

Note: Your completed thesis forms must be received at the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies before your cIRcle account will be activated.

If you are submitting a thesis for which you have received permission to delay publication, please follow these instructions carefully and enter EMBARGO in front of your title in cIRcle.
