The 2009 Xwi7xwa Library June 2009 Update discusses naming and reclaiming projects pertinent to both Xwi7xwa Library and Indigenous librarianship as a whole. The update discusses the restoration of over 11 000 First Nations House of Learning Subject Headings after the headings were lost in a 2004 system migration. Also discussed is the ongoing development of the First Nations House of Learning Thesaurus. The Library’s 2008 figures and trends are included in the update, as are some examples of newly acquired video resources.
