Abstract: The increasing greenhouse gas emission contributes to global warming and many long term effects. Carbon capture and storage (CCS) is the potential mitigation to address large scale green house gas emission which may require technological advancements and large capital investments. However, in comparison to other mitigation techniques, CCS will remain strong in the long term future compare to forestry means.
