Hosted by the Museum of Anthropology (MOA), Canadian Society for Asian Arts, Rosalie Stronck Family Foundation, and UBC’s Buddhism and Contemporary Society Program. Drawing on his most recent book, Sacred Sites of Burma, renowned scholar Donald Stadtner gives an illustrated lecture on how sacred sites have come into existence. This lecture is co-presented by MOA, Canadian Society for Asian Arts, Rosalie Stronck Family Foundation, and UBC’s Buddhism and Contemporary Society Program funded by The Tung Lin Kok Yuen Canada Foundation. This talk is part of the Asian Illuminations Series Lecture.
