Abstract

This is the sixth in a series of biennial reports produced by the Health Human Resources Unit (HHRU) on physician supply and medical care costs per capita, for British Columbia. The present report covers the period 1986-87 to 1991-92. It includes data about physician full-time-equivalent supply, physician incomes, per capita medical care costs, receipt of services by location of physician, and provision of services by estimated location of patient. Some of the data are reported only for 1991-92, in the interests of space. Other data, such as those on physician supply and incomes, are provided for 1986-87 and 1991-92.
