Abstract

This report is the tenth of its kind reporting the place of graduation for selected health occupations in British Columbia. The choice of groups for the current report is restricted to "licensed" or "registered" professions in this province for which updated data are available, and place of graduation of members is known. In all cases, the total number of licensed or registered professionals, as of the date of record, is given. Two groups appear in this report which were not included in the 1987 publication: Massage Practitioners and Physiotherapists. Occupational Therapists are the only personnel presented here for which registration is not mandatory, but regulation exists in the form of exclusive use of statutory title.
