Do you have an article, webinar recording, student project or other material you’re interested in adding to cIRcle but aren’t sure where to start? The cIRcle Submissions portal guides you through each step of the process whether you are a UBC faculty member, staff, or student.
To get you started, we’ll ask you about three key elements that make sure you can openly share your work, make it easy for others to find, and preserve it for future generations:
- Permissions : Do you have copyright or permission to share this work?
- Metadata : Does your item include basic descriptive information such as Title, Author, Date or anything else we need to ensure others can find it?
- Preservation: Are you using an open file format? Will the file size pose any challenges for site visitors with lower bandwidth?
Each content type—from reports to video recordings—has its own requirements and considerations that determine how others view and engage with your work. To get an idea of what can be added to cIRcle and learn more about our services, check out our blog post: Introduction to cIRcle, UBC’s Institutional Repository.
If you already have everything you need to submit content, use the Item Submission Form.
Use the cIRcle Contact Us form to ask questions or book a consult. We would be pleased to help you share your research with the world.
