Hello! My name is Kritika and I am the newest member of the cIRcle team. I am a second-year Master of Library and Information Studies (MLIS) student. As the Digital Repository Research Assistant this term, I will be working on various exciting projects and updating you with the latest highlights and insights! Topics include but are not limited to:
- Depositing submissions to the cIRcle repository and creating their digital record
- Editing and enhancing existing records in the repository
- Recruiting content from faculty that have supervised UBC theses and dissertations
- Implementing accessibility best practices for digital outreach initiatives
- Researching emerging trends and best practices in digital repositories and open access
I am excited to be learning more about digital repositories and open access work. Having a fondness for the technical side of things, I am especially looking forward to learning about the emerging systems and tools in the open access/digital repository landscape while supporting cIRcle’s mission.
