What is cIRcle?
cIRcle is UBC’s institutional repository We preserve and provide access to scholarly and research materials created by faculty, staff, students, and community partners.
cIRcle uses the open-source software DSpace to create and manage content behind the scenes.
Following a cIRcle link from Google, Google Scholar, or the library catalogue will direct you to UBC’s Open Collections discovery platform. There you can view or download cIRcle content and explore nearly 300,000 items in the Library’s digital collections.
What do we accept?
cIRcle prioritizes born-digital scholarly materials created by the UBC community.
You’ll find expected content in the repository like theses and dissertations, but you’ll also discover thousands of peer-reviewed research articles, recorded lectures from local and global experts, field research images, research reports, podcasts, comics, and more!
